ABOUT ME
I'm Charlie Lindberg, an LA-based actor, filmmaker, and production designer. I started acting in community theater when I was in third grade. My first production as an actor was Oliver Twist, and my first time directing was with the play Letters to Sala. Since then, I’ve acted in thirty-five plus theatre productions, and I have directed and production designed more than twenty film projects. I went on to study at Chapman University. I graduated cum laude in 2021 with a B.F.A. in Film Production (directing emphasis).
Since then, I’ve directed film projects, production designed for shorts, and kept on acting in theater and film. When I have time, I also love to read a bunch! My favorite authors are JD Salinger, Stephen King, and John Krakauer. The three of them have strong voices and create stories (whether fiction or non fiction) that tug at your heart strings and make you feel. Their stories have helped me through a lot, and I would really like to do the same for someone else with the stories I tell. That’s why I chose to take this path for myself; I love to connect with others through stories and characters. Ever since acting in Oliver Twist and directing Letters to Sala, I can’t imagine being anywhere else, doing anything but what I love.
